4 reasons why summer sucks

Most regard summer as the coolest time of the year.  Why?  Well, it’s because school’s virtually in the other universe.  Plus, we get to go to the beach and party whenever, wherever.  We can stay up till what time our body clock will allow us and wake up in the middle of the afternoon the next day.  We can finally get out and perfect our tan or spend mo hours shedding or increasing the pounds.  There are so many good things about summer. Call me a pessimist, but there are also not-so-good things that summer can bring.

1.  Younger kids making nonsense troubles

Summer is the time when kids are also on hiatus from school- and they seem to take advantage of this time to hang around and play jokes on others, take up your paid parking space, or taunt you endlessly.  I love kids, but they can get irritating especially during summer time.

2. Sweaty armpits

Yes, this sounds off.  But this is one inevitable part of summer. It’s like we have to check our armpits more than the usual just to check that it’s not too sweaty to the point that it’ll smell around the place.

3. High gas prices

It makes us think twice of taking the car for our out-of-town trips. $4 a gallon?  Who will have the motivation to get out of the house and drive?

4.  Sunburn

This will happen if we don’t know how to proper suntanning.  But then, even if we do, due to the worsening effects of global warming, we’ll still suffer sunburns.

But then, even with these bad things can summer brings, summer is still one of the best times of the year.  We can set aside some sources of stress and just relax and enjoy the heat.

3 most embarassing moments you can catch your parents doing

We all love our parents, right? We even idolize them and see them as perfect human beings when we are kids until we grow up. But there are also certain things that are just really meant to be alone and are if not irritating but are just kind of disgusting to see.

Was inspired by Ellen’s episode with Jessica Alba on the most embarassing moments one can catch their parents doing and added some more.

1. Making out

This might be the most embarassing and “eewww” moment we can experience. Especially if you suddenly caught them doing it around the house but not in the bedroom or just heard them doing it. I mean, making out is a good thing, but there’s something awkward about it when we see our folks doing it.

2. Telling a lie

This is especially awkward for us when we were kids because we idolize them so much. But when we become older, we tend to understand why they lie, especially if the lies were just trivial.

3. Walking naked or almost naked in the house

This might be as worse as catching them making out. Ok, it’s their house, but, there’s just something off when we see the ones we love dearly roaming naked. And sometimes, the sight does not actually qualify as pleasing.

As much as we care and love them dearly, there are just some things that are not meant to be seen or heard, for that matter. These are some of the things that are better left unseen.
